The team at Island Movers went above and beyond for my family yesteday. I reached out to request a piano to be moved to my new home as the closing date was today, a big ask on short notice. I was left stuck as the moving company I hired fell short on their garuntee to move the piano with my other home contents.
Faced with the possibility of having to destroy this family treasure to have it taken out before our closing date the team at Island movers made it happen right away!.
The men that came to our home were kind, professional and efficient.
We’re incredibly grateful. Thank you again to this amazing local company!

One word “outstanding”. We have moved many times between NS & ON. Our last move from ON did not go as we hoped so we were feeling a little apprehensive about this move. Jeffery was a gem to deal with, responsive to everyone one of my emails and phone calls. I think our move may have been a little unique. We needed our belongings moved from Fall River to their storage units in Sydney. Jeffery and I arranged the whole thing via pictures and videos. He kept his word on everything we discussed. The move couldn’t have gone more smoothly. When we’re ready to move into the house, there’s no question who I’m going to call to move our belongings from storage to our home.
Oh, and it would be remiss of me if I didn’t mention the 4 employees he had to move our stuff, great guys! We had a few laughs that day !!!

Jeff B and Island Movers were great to work with. Jeff was always quick to respond and give a reliable estimate. They assisted moving furniture I needed to get rid of. Jeff and Island Movers were very professional, kind and respectful as well as understanding that moving can be quite stressful. Quality customer service and care. I wish I could have given them more business! I can see why Island Movers has great reviews!

Great job on the move! Lots of communication during planning. Three excellent workers were on time, courteous and skilled. Fast and careful loading and unloading. Excellent value for the price. Second time I've used them and highly recommend them!
